It is grounded in modern technologies including a RESTful interface and utilizes JSON and OData to help customers integrate solutions within their existing tool chains. The ultimate goal of Redfish is to address all components in the data center with a consistent API, and an aggressive development schedule from the DMTF partner community is successfully making strides towards that end.<\/p>\n<p>Version 1.5 of the Redfish specification brings a plethora of new and useful features such as AEP DIMM Inventory, out-of-band (OOB) AEP Management and Redfish 2018.1 compliance. Its OOB AEP Management capability now allows for BIOS side actions to create\/delete goals and namespaces, along with new BMC side security actions.
